Acquisition: A fire proof lockable filing cabinet
Recently, one of our volunteers, Jay Larkin was able to acquire a brand new fire proof lockable filing cabinet worth several thousand dollars in a surplus sale at his place of work for the princely sum of $25.00! The challenge was moving it as it is very heavy. In the photos below we find myself and Jay loading it into my utility trailer. Jay, a fully qualified forklift operator, used his firm's fork lift to load it and the museum's fork lift to unload it.
