We've been working on the railroad!

While much of our focus on weekends is the staffing of the museum operation, our volunteers are still making time for further development of our facilities. Last weekend was no exception.

In these pictures we find a TRHA crew trenching in the park to install conduit to handle signalling wires which will connect track-based sensors to our crossing gates to allow us to automatically trigger the gates and their warning bells and lights as our miniature trains approach the pedestrian walkways.
