Weekend Report: Sunday finds a smaller team braving the snowstorm!

After a very rainy day on Saturday, dropping temperatures overnight turned the rain into a snowstorm challenging our volunteers as they struggled to get to the Roundhouse. Yet we still saw a smaller team appear to continue work on several projects. We sorted through a collection of miscellaneous restoration materials and stored them in our new storage module system. The flat car was thoroughly vacuumed to clean off all of the residual material left after stripping and painting it. A crew dug into the innards of the Pyke Crane to deal with some electrical issues. We also began to strip off old paint on a few of the panels from our passenger cars and discovered some very nicely finished varnished surfaces underneath.
