Weekend Report: Planning for the U33C & installing axle replacements

This weekend our TRHA volunteers continued to work on the TH&B Caboose as well as other smaller tasks. They also worked up a plan to include the U33C Diesel Cab simulator into the plan for the temporary museum space in Stall 17.

On Sunday (as shown in the photos below), a TRHA crew made significant progress in replacing the axles on our miniature railway's riding cars. As the season wound down last year, we had an axle fail. Our investigation found manufacturing defect in the original axles so we decided that safety considerations demanded that we replace them all.
