A
little belatedly, we are now posting pictures from the very successful
"Beer Festival" weekend which Steam Whistle Brewery hosted on the weeknd
of August 11th and 12th. It was a very busy weekend despite a slow
start on Saturday due to rain.
In addition to visits to
the museum itself and the miniature railway rides, we opened up the cab
of our GP9 #4803 and offered visitors the opportunity to operate the
handcar on the turntable. We were rewarded by hordes of visitors testing
our capacity to serve them.
