Weekend Report: Restoration progress on the TH&B Caboose

Restoration work on the TH&B caboose continued with significant progress to report from this Saturday's work session.  The window work is satisfyingly close to completion, with just some painting and mounting to go.  Black trim paint was applied on the right side and to the cupola, followed by a second coat of the final exterior red.  The rear roof walk is now about 80% complete, with boards for the ladder platform still left to do.  The ladder platform for the main roof walk has been finished.

The exterior work on the right side of the car is thus all but completed.  We anticipate being able to turn the caboose around next weekend to proceed with work on the left side.
