Ice Drag Locomotive - Niagara Falls, Ontario

In our TRHA News Posting earlier this week, we spoke to the movement and preservation of this unique locomotive in Niagara Falls. At that time we searched the Internet without success for a close up view of the locomotive.

However, Dave Wetherald, one of our TRHA volunteers, had the presence of mind to see if the Google Maps "street view" feature had by chance taken a photo of this locomotive.  Lo and behold, they had!  In the image above, you will see the locomotive sitting on the weir in the Niagara River where it operated.
