High Speed Trains come to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways

Being a passionate enthusiast for small scale narrow gauge railways, my favourite such railways in England are the Ffestiniog and the Welsh Highland Railways in Wales.  Michael Guy brings to our attention to two YouTube 4 minute videos below which provide eye-catching experiences showing fast-tracked versions of normally slow 15mph trips from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog, and Porthmadog to Rhyd Ddu.
