Upcoming event: Double Headers Home and Club Layout Tour - March 29th

St. Jacobs & Aberfoyle O-Gauge Model Railway
It is a very common practice at Model Railway Conventions to have local modelers open up their model railroads for visits.

In southern Ontario, the Double Headers Model Railroad Club of Waterloo Region is renowned for doing this without a convention nearby every spring.  This year, they are holding their 31st annual self-guided home and club layout tour on Saturday March 29th from 9 am to 9 pm.  Traditionally, over 40 home and club railroads open their doors for this one day event.

For more information on tickets and details of the railroads on display visit the Double Headers club’s site by clicking here to see the event brochure and clicking here to visit their website.  At their website, they have pictures (a few are shown below) of all of the layouts in past tours which will help you decide on which ones to try and see in 12 hours .... perhaps you can see them all!  But be warned .. they are spread out over a large area!

Special Note: The famed O-Scale St. Jacobs & Aberfoyle Model Railway (see image above) is on the tour and is a must see! Check them out by clicking here!
