Maintenance of our turntable deck

After five years of exposure to the elements, the timbers on our turntable deck will need to be replaced, likely in the spring of 2015. Meanwhile, to ensure a safe surface for volunteers and visitors (when the deck is open to them), we have covered the deck with sheets of plywood and stained the plywood as the surface is otherwise pretty bright in colour as can be seen below.
