"Call of the Northland" by Thomas Blampied now available at our museum!

Thomas Blampied is a TRHA volunteer, an historian, an avid railfan, an excellent photographer and a author of a number of books on the local railway scene in our area.

After more than two years of work, his book about the Ontario Northland - "Call of the Northland - is now published and available. It charts the history of the ONR, with particular emphasis on the divestment mess of the past few years. The narrative is woven through a journey that he took aboard the Northlander in 2012 and also features a selection of photographs from the trip.
