A Christmas Card - Steam Whistles in the Woods

The Fort Wayne (Indiana) Railway Society sent out a very different Christmas card this year featuring the poignant sound of the whistles of the Nickel Plate Road #756 steam engine which has been featured in many excursions in the past few years.

Click on the video above, make it full screen and then as you gaze on the image of #765, listen to the wonderful sounds of the steam whistle on what certainly feels like a cold winter's day in the woods. These are awesome and very nostalgic sounds for those of us who grew up in the steam engine era.
