More progress on our CNR Caboose

Our restoration team continue to work on the CNR Caboose restoration as shown in the photos below.  One side of the caboose is now completely sheathed.  The door in the side of the caboose was placed their by our team in anticipation of needing it for some of the uses being consider for the caboose.  Once closed, the existence of the door will be difficult to spot except for the sill at the bottom.

The roof was also stripped down to the rafters and a new plywood sheathed roof applied.  The next step will be to apply the same weather proof membrane materiual we used on our passenger cars and our TH&B caboose.
