Acquisition of a tiny forklift truck!

The museum aquired a second forklift. It is a tiny little PEG one-ton electric counterbalance lift truck made in France. At about half the size of our much newer Toyota truck the PEG will go places the Toyota cannot. 

Something of a museum piece itself, the PEG was purchased second hand sometime in the 1980's for use backstage at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (then the O'Keefe Centre) and has been used there ever since. Finally replaced with a modern lift truck at Sony, the PEG was purchased and donated to us privately.
