Upgrading our miniature railway crossings for smoother operation

Our little miniature railway just might be a potentil Guiness World Record holder for having the most crossings with standard gauge track of any minature railway in the world!

However, these crossings have been a bit of a problem.  So with the winding down of our operating season, our staff and volunteers have been busy making new sections of miniature railway track to go over the original rather rough crossings. These new sections are removable to allow mainline equipment to move past on the occasions when we need to move our full scale railway engines and rolling stock.
