Season Opener this weekend: Toronto Doors Open Event at our museum!

Once again this year, the Toronto Railway Museum will be participating in Toronto’sDoors Open weekend event on Saturday, May 27th and
Sunday, May 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. We
will once again be featuring a modest train show in our three stalls as well
as access to our restoration workshopsl.
Museum admission will be free on these two days. Regular rates apply to train rides
on our miniature railway.
In addition to an expanded set of museum attractions being open for this special event, we are also featuring GO Transit’s 50th Anniversary with two brand new exhibits:

- A fully restored 1967 GO single level Cab car which will be open for visits this weekend
- An extensive display of historic GO Transit artifacts on display inside in our Museum
Also new this season is a
comprehensive exhibit on the history of the famed CP “Canadian” passenger train
from the 1950’s and you will have the opportunity to tour the CP’s Cape Race
observation car and view the excellent restoration work underway by our
volunteers.
