Field Trip Report: The Milton Steam Era Event - Part 3

One interesting "demonstration" at the Milton Steam Era Event on Labour Day weekend was the "teeter-totter" for tractors. It was a big steel platform on a pivot in the centre. The objective was to drive a large steam tractor onto the platform and then carefully move it to a point where it was perfectly balanced on the platform. This is a lot harder than it sounds! In the video below, a pair of gasoline-driven tractor operators demonstrate teamwork in action as they use the two tractors to attempt to achieve the same goal.
